Netwater makes a new supply of two manual screens for the coarse solids waterhole of the “Cala Tarida WWTP”

Project: Cala Tarida WWTP in Ibiza (SPAIN)

Equipment supplied:

Vertical and manual screen EasyTech®Nw10

Horizontal and manual screen EasyTech®Nw12

Netwater Technology makes a new supply of mechanical equipment for the CALA TARIDA WWTP in Ibiza, for one of the most important construction companies in Spain, which also has a global presence around the world

Its main function is the filtering of coarse solids. Two EasyTech®Nw10 (vertical type anchored in the wall) and EasyTech®Nw12 (horizontal type supported in the work) have been supplied with 2 handrails, both with a mesh of 40mm, made of AISI- 316-L, which were installed in the waterhole.

In the EasyTech®Nw12 model, we have made an exclusive design for this project, which allowed to fit the vertical plates with the horizontal ones.

This way we avoided a large number of welding points and optimized the production, achieving a clean and precise design with the mesh of 40mm requested by the client.

Our customer contacted several boilermakers in the area but no boilermakers agreed to make this type of equipment, our versatility and adaptability to our customers allowed us to supply these 2 equipment, within a time frame of only 3 weeks.

Radial weir screen WeirTech®Nw57.300 for the BENIDORM WWTP (Alicante)

Supply of a mechanical equipment for the BENIDORM WWTP in Alicante, for one of the most important WWTP operating companies in Spain. In this case, a very important improvement has been made in order to accomplish with the European wastewater regulations.

We supplied 2 radial weir screens WeirTech®Nw57, with a mesh of 6mm, to treat a flow of 1094.2m3/h per equipment, which were installed in the coarse waterhole, in the spillway where they discharge in case of rains the raw water directly into the Benidorm’s beach.

Its main functionality is to retain the fine solids that are returned to the coarse waterhole, to be extracted by the bivalve spoon or by the pretreatment channels.

In this case, being a facility with more than 20 years it was not possible to install our standard equipment and our engineering department made an exclusive design for AQUAMBIENTE, SA.

This way we managed to reduce the environmental impact and keep clean beaches free from all type of solids it may arrive in case of rains. The supply integrated (2 screens + 1 control panel+ level control).

NETWATER and its firm commitment to innovation and improvement inside the water field

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The following article briefly summarizes the evolution of the water sector in recent years, which is not very encouraging, something that worries us, but at the same time, it serves as a motivation to invest more resources in R & D & I.

Bringing new products to the markets that contribute to reduce investments in maintenance of electromechanical equipment, while offering high quality, reliable results and efficient products is the main aid of the company.

From our research and development department, we are studying the possibility of applying new materials with better mechanical performance and greater resistance to corrosion than materials commonly used in the sector, which would directly affect the useful life and costs for public administration.

NETWATER visits the SMAGUA exhibition 2016, 22nd international fair for water and irrigation

During this commercial mission, we have achieved our proposed goals and have made interesting contacts with new clients and organisations such as Amec, with whom we will be collaborating in order to expand our international market. We have also learned about new, innovative technologies in different fields and here at NETWATER, as we are always keen on advancing and also have a very strong desire for improvement, we will be incorporating these new technologies into our product design to offer more efficient machinery and at the same time, environmentally friendly.

Netwater Technology makes a new supply of mechanical equipment for the Screen of fines in the WWTP VILAFRANCA

Project: WWTP  VILAFRANCA

Equipment supplied: Automatic fine screen RevTech®Nw40

We have supplied mechanical equipment to one of the most important engineering companies in Spain, for WWTP Vilafranca in Catalunya. The unit in question is our automatic fine screen RevTech®Nw40 and its main purpose is  fine screening. The screen is made up of a cleaning arm which is 100% detachable and this means that there is no need to dismount the equipment’s main driving unit and this way we can optimize and simplify daily maintenance time and costs.

In the equipment we have installed an inductive detector which indicates the stopping position of the cleaning arm which is very important, so as to avoid any obstructions with the water passage. We have also made a very important improvement on our design and have incorporated  two interior supports for inside the channel in order to hold the solids collection basket in place and with this system we can guarantee that the slurry wall is always clean and free from solids. This way we also prioritize health and safety issues.

Netwater has supplied mechanical equipment for coarse screening , for the pumping station WWPS Tui in Galicia

Project: WWPS Tui in Galicia (SPAIN)

Equipment supplied: Coarse screen SolidTech® Nw30

We have supplied an automatic coarse screen SolidTech®Nw30 to TUI WWPS in Galicia with a slot of 30mm to treat a flow of 450m3/h. This equipment is intended for coarse screening and our new design has included a series of important improvements; the filtering grid which has a curved shape and therefore avoids solids to accumulate and its modular design means it can easily be removed when maintenance is required.

Our client is one of the most important construction companies in Spain, with local offices in Uruguay and for this project it was of utmost importance to manufacture this equipment in a very short period of time in order to meet with our client’s deadline.

So thanks to the great effort put in by all our staff and partners, we have been able to hand over the machinery in 4 weeks, as agreed.

Netwater has supplied mechanical equipment for fine screening to WWTP Vedra in Galicia

Project: WWTP Vedra in Galicia (SPAIN)

Equipment supplied: Fine screen Arquímedes  ArqTech®Nw50

The supply of mechanical equipment to WWTP VEDRA in Galicia, to one of the most important engineering companies in Spain. Its main purpose is fine screening. Our equipment, in order to fully reach health and safety standards has safety detectors incorporated in the protection lids which means our units stop instantly if the protection lids are opened. Our machinery has been designed with lifting points to enhance safety issues and offer easy manipulation on site. In order to improve the quality of our equipment we sand blast surfaces and this way we get a perfect and even finishing.

Optimized designs (Low maintenance & Energy cost)

As a new company Netwater Technology we focus our efforts in innovations and new progress in our field of actions.

Our R & D department is constantly developing new possible designs of the conventional machines offered in the market for wastewater treatment since many years back.

We are proposing to make more optimized designs in terms of minimizing the energy consumption level and achieving the lowest carbon footprint possible simultaneously.

Thanks to that last points we reduce the maintenance costs of our machines and we are also able to improve other aspects such as:

Prolonging the useful life of components and the reduction of the labour costs

In order to improve all these traditional problems we have provided greater resources to our R & D department with state-of-the-art software, something essential to be able to make a difference to our competitors.
