WWTPi Meat Sector (Cutting room)

Netwater Technology, has carried out the complete installation of a fine screen for the retention and extraction of all the solids that the fine solids roughing in a company of the meat sector in a cutting room:

• A FineTech® Nw60 fine screen, to treat a Q=150m3/h, working inclination at 75º, 3mm passage span, main construction material in AISI-304.
• To be installed in an existing civil work channel, where they had installed a MEVA or ABS type stair screen, which had never worked.

The main objective of our client was to replace the current ladder sieve with a technology capable of retaining, extracting and depositing in a basket the solids, grease, etc… contained in the water used in their production process:

-Actually, the ladder sieve was not able to lift the waste, because both the static filtering mesh and the mobile one were impregnated with grease, which caused the pieces of meat, grease, etc… that the sieve tried to lift to fall continuously, causing the channel to overflow and causing major problems in the following processes of the treatment plant.

-By installing our FineTech® Nw60 Fine Screen, a serious problem has been solved, which prevented them from complying with the regulations for discharges to the public sewer. Now the FineTech®Nw60 sieve (retains, elevates and expels the pieces of meat, grease, etc. from the water it filters from its production processes), allowing the private company to comply with the regulations for discharges to public sewers and managing to purify its process water in a more efficient and environmentally friendly way.

The FineTech®Nw60 equipment is made up of an innovative system, its filtration mesh is modular and very easy to maintain and replace in the event that a filter panel needs to be replaced, which means lower maintenance and logistical costs as the possible maintenance can be carried out in the channel itself without the need to remove the equipment at any time.
