Netwater Technology, has carried out the complete installation of a fine screen with the filtration mesh made up of 30×6 plates for the retention and extraction of waste:

• A RevTech®Nw41 fine screen, to treat a Q=65m3/h, 15mm passage span, main construction material in AISI-316L.
• We designed a metallic channel to conduct the water to be treated, customised to the existing civil works.
• Mobile waste collection basket and guide system for easy extraction.
• The client requested us that the drive could not remain inside the chamber because due to the accumulation of gases such as hydrogen sulphide, they would cause serious damage to it in the short term. Due to this requirement NETWATER designed a system using a pinion-chain transmission, in this way we were able to preserve the integrity of the motor and reducer avoiding its exposure to this type of gases.
• We supplied and installed on site the control panel with frequency inverter and carried out the electrical installation from the building where the panel was located to the pit where the grille was installed.

The main objective of our client was to automate the roughing process in the pit.

– They currently had a grille anchored to the wall with a 60mm clearance. Cleaning this was a complex task and a real risk for the integrity of the maintenance personnel, the filtration capacity of the grating was very poor, this meant that a lot of waste was not retained and caused serious blockages and breakdowns in the pumps.

– With the installation of our RevTech® Nw41 fine screen, we have proceeded to automate the roughing process, the screen supplied has a greater capacity for waste retention due to its new 15mm clearance, which is extracted and deposited in a basket, which the operators extract through a system of guides, by means of a manual winch.

Netwater Technology, through this turnkey installation, has been able to meet the needs of our client. This had its particularities, which was a challenge for our technical team, as it was an existing construction site and designed to work with a manual grating anchored to the wall, there was no civil works channel for the installation and conduction of the water to be treated, where our standard fine grating could be installed. Netwater offered a tailor-made solution. NETWATER carried out the commissioning and installation of the equipment, the equipment and parts fitted perfectly, as shown in the images.
