The TWO main objectives of our client were:

2.-Reduce operation and maintenance costs.

Netwater Technology, supplies and supervises the installation of TWO coarse screen SolidTech®Nw30S with metal channel, to channel the water and automate the process of filtration and waste extraction:
- Two coarse screen SolidTech®Nw30®Nw30S to treat Qmax 250m3/h, main construction material AISI-304.
- Two electrical panels to control the operation of the coarse screens, with frequency variator, to reduce electrical consumption at start-up, preserve the geared motor and other components for cleaning and waste extraction.
Our client’s TWO main objectives were:
1.-Automate the extraction of coarse waste in the WWTP and WWPS.
2.-Protect and preserve the useful life of the pumps from possible breakdowns.
Currently they had baskets with guides, the cleaning of these had to be done manually by the plant operators, they had to be very attentive to them, because if at any time they became 100% blocked, the pipes could enter into load and flood the WWTP or WWPS.
Netwater Technology has made a custom design of the 2 metal channels, with the particularity that their geometry was circular, to allow a perfect fit to the existing civil work.
By installing our Coarse Screen SolidTech®Nw30S in a metallic channel, we have been able to retain, elevate and discharge a large amount of complex waste such as wipes, which is a type of waste that in episodes of heavy rains, causes countless breakdowns in pumping systems, producing a reduction in operating costs, pump breakdowns and most importantly, preserving the integrity and health of plant personnel, making their daily work healthy.
Netwater Technology, through the two facilities, has managed to meet the needs of our client.

Netwater Technology, has carried out the supply of a complete PRETREATMENT consisting on the following equipment:
- EasyTech®Nw10 manual screen, to treat a maximum Q. of 50m3/h, with a 50mm passage span, main construction material in AISI-304L.
- Coarse screen SolidTech®Nw30S, for treating Q. Max. 50m3/h, with 20mm spacing, main material of construction in AISI-304L.
- Fine screen FineTech®Nw60, for treatment of Q. Max. 50m3/h, with a 3mm spacing, main material of construction in AISI-304L.
The main objective of our client was to design a new pretreatment system for their current WWTPI, as the current one was very deficient and was causing continuous failures in the different pumps of the downstream processes and in turn a deficient operation and reduced performance in the rest of the downstream systems. They needed efficient pre-treatment equipment capable of filtering the waste progressively (retaining, extracting and discharging the waste into a container):
-At present they had a ladder type screen, which was NOT capable of transporting the waste to the discharge area (it is a type of technology that works by means of an elliptical movement made up of a fixed and a mobile mesh, which are always submerged and difficult to access for cleaning), This means that they become impregnated with grease and prevent the waste from being lifted and sliding to the bottom of the channel, the sieve collapsed and the water and waste ended up overflowing and this waste caused serious blockages and continuous breakdowns in the pumps, in very cold weather, the grease solidifies, producing greater resistance in the elliptical movement, causing the main motor to break..
-By installing our Manual EasyTech®Nw10 Grid, we achieve a first filtering, being able to retain waste of all types (bottles, cans, rags, etc…), by installing this equipment we manage to protect the following coarse and fine roughing equipment.
– By installing our Automatic Screen SolidTech®Nw30S, we achieve a second filtering, being able to retain waste of all types (wipes, compact blocks of grease, leaves, etc…), by installing this equipment we achieve a roughing of coarse waste, protecting the roughing of fine waste.
–By installing the FineTech®Nw60 Fine Screen, which is capable of “retaining, elevating and discharging” (seeds, grease, etc.), contained in the water that they filter from their production processes).
–Netwater Technology has had to make a customised design of the equipment to fit the length of the existing civil works channel and create a system of extendable supports for the central supports of the screen and sieve.
After installing our EasyTech®Nw10 Manual Screen + SolidTech®Nw30S Automatic Screen + FineTech®Nw60 Fine Screen, several serious problems have been solved, such as lower maintenance costs for pump repairs, lower operating costs, as the downstream systems now receive water with a lower PPM residue load and can maximise their performance.
Netwater Technology, by means of this supply, has managed to meet the needs of our client, who has been very satisfied with our service.

Netwater Technology, has carried out the complete installation of TWO fine screens in the pre-treatment channel to maximise the retention and removal of the waste contained in the urban wastewater:
- Two FineTech® Nw60 Fine Screens, to treat a Q=500m3/h, working inclination 75º, 3mm pitch, main material of construction in AISI-304L.
The main objective of our client was to replace the 2 current AQUAGUARD type screens, installed in 1995, with screens with a greater waste retention capacity. The current screens were capable of treating 500m3/h, but they allowed a large amount of waste to pass through to the following processes.
At present they had TWO ANDRITZ (AQUA-GUARD) fine screens of origin that were installed in the year of construction of the WWTP in 1995, these screens were manufactured entirely in iron-painted, as all electromechanical equipment, has a durability and there were some parts of the equipment affected by corrosion, these equipment had reached the end of its useful life.
By installing our FineTech® Nw60 fine screens, we have increased the retention and removal of waste in the pre-treatment exponentially, preventing these solids from clogging pumps or other WWTP equipment. Our filtration mesh system composed of modular panels allows changing the mesh or conveyor chains in-situ, without the need to remove the screen from the site, saving significant logistical costs in maintenance tasks.
Netwater Technology, through this installation, has managed to meet the needs of our client, we attach some images where you can see “the type of waste of small size” that are able to retain our FineTech® Nw60 fine screens, the “high retention and extraction capacity”, allows us to contribute even better performance of the treatment plant and reduction of operating costs.

Netwater Technology, has supplied, collaborated and advised in the remodelling and design of the current civil works, in order to successfully carry out the change of technology for the extraction of sands:
- SandTech®Nw210 sand classifier, to treat Qmax 25m3/h, main construction material in AISI-304L.
The main objective of our customer was to install a sand extraction system, which works efficiently and is able to extract as much sand as possible. The necessary requirement to utilise and remodel part of the existing construction site of the old system had some difficulty.
At present they had the alternative sand extraction system of origin that was installed in the year of construction of the WWTP in 1995. Some defects in the design of the work and tank caused a poor performance of the installed technology, (it is a type of technology that performs an elliptical movement, with blades that dragged the sands, towards the discharge area) discharging them into a container, but this system was not very efficient and the extraction of sands was very limited, only 1 container of 5m3 every 5 or 6 months.
–Netwater Technology travelled to the site on several occasions to take measurements of the existing site and thus be able to use part of the existing site for the new technology proposed by NETWATER, which is much more efficient in its task..
Our client AQUAMBIENTE, in order to carry out a modification and remodelling of the existing work, which involved demolition and remodelling works, needed to present to the Regional Council a written document and detailed plans for validation of the new technology that we had proposed, from NETWATER we collaborated in generating the written document and dimensioned plan with the different levels of the work and water levels..
– Through the installation of our SandTech®Nw160 Sand Classifier equipment, the new sand classifier is capable of “sedimenting, retaining, extracting and discharging” (sand and other waste), the new system is capable of extracting sand and filling 1 container of 5m3 every month and a half approximately.
Netwater Technology, through this installation, has managed to meet the needs of our client, as you can see in the pictures you can see the large amount of sand that the equipment supplied is being able to extract and thus contribute to even better performance of the treatment plant and reduction of operating costs.

Netwater Technology, has carried out the supply and supervision of the installation of a radial spillway screen, in the safety spillway at the inlet of a WWTP:
- A WeirTech®Nw57.500.3000 Radial Spillway Screen, to treat a Q=2601m3/h, 10mm passage span, main construction material in AISI-316L.
- An Electrical Panel to control the sieve, including reverse rotation.
- In this project, due to the length of the equipment of 3mt and the severe conditions in which it will work on rainy days, we have installed a BAUER geared motor with IP68 protection, which can work submerged in case the installation requires it.
The main objective of our client was to install a spillway sieve in the safety weir located at the entrance of the treatment plant, before the roughing channels, which was capable of retaining the maximum possible waste (wipes, plastics, etc…) and thus prevent the discharge of these into the riverbed, helping to preserve the environment.
– At present there´s a safety spillway at the entrance to the WWTP, whose function is to alleviate the excess water produced during heavy or torrential rainfall events. When these episodes occur, (due to the large amount of m3 of water that usually fall in a few minutes), they drag a large amount of waste accumulated and settled in the km of pipes before the WWTP, when this flow and waste reached the treatment plant, much of this was relieved by the safety spillway to the riverbed, this fact generated serious problems in the ecosystems of rivers and seas.
– Through the installation of our WeirTech®Nw57 Overflow Screen, which is capable of “retaining, cleaning and expelling” (wipes, plastics, rags, etc.), we prevent a large part of this waste from reaching the receiving media and preserve the integrity of the natural ecosystems. This waste is returned to the automatic roughing channel, so that the automatic coarse screen and the fine screen can extract and compact this waste so that it can be treated appropriately.
Netwater Technology, through this supply, has managed to meet the needs of our client, who has been very satisfied with our service.

Netwater Technology, has carried out the complete installation of a Fine Sieve for the retention and extraction of (guts, pieces of meat, fats) which are discharged into an auger conveyor that transports them to a container for one of the most important companies in the pig sector in slaughterhouse:
- A FineTech®Nw60 fine screen, to treat a Q=300m3/h, working inclination at 75º, 6mm pitch, main material of construction in AISI-316L.
- A ScrewTech®Nw80.180 screw conveyor, for conveying Q=1m3/h, with a 15º inclination, main material of construction in AISI-316L.
- An electrical panel to control the screen and auger, to preserve the main geared motors, we have installed M20 torque limiters for the screen and auger.
- To be installed in an existing civil work channel, where they had installed a MEVA or ABS type stair screen, which had never worked before.
The main objective of our client was to install a type of sieve, which would work optimally and would be capable of (retaining, extracting and transporting waste in a container), he requested that the auger be elevated and fixed to the lower part of the existing structure, thus leaving the passage area free for maintenance personnel, minimising the risk of accidents or falls:
– At present they had a ladder type screen, which was not capable of transporting the waste to the discharge area (this is a type of technology that works by means of an elliptical movement made up of a fixed and a mobile mesh, which are always submerged and difficult to access for cleaning), This means that they become impregnated with grease and prevent the waste from being lifted and sliding to the bottom of the channel, the sieve collapsed and the water and waste ended up overflowing and this waste caused serious blockages and continuous breakdowns in the pumps, in very cold weather, the grease solidifies, producing greater resistance in the elliptical movement, causing the main motor to break.
– By installing our FineTech® Nw60 fine screen + ScrewTech® Nw80.180 screw conveyor, the new screen is capable of “retaining, elevating and discharging” (casings, large pieces of fat, meat, skins), which are contained in the filtered water coming from your production processes.) This saves on repairs to existing pumps and allows them to continuously pump the water to the next screening system consisting of a Rotary sieve.

Netwater Technology has supplied a plastic waste auger compactor for transporting, compacting and dewatering waste at the WWTPi:
- A ScrewPressTech® Nw90.215SP, for treatment of Q=1m3/h, working inclination 1°, with special compaction head, optimised drain water collection hopper, main construction material AISI-304,
- To install at the discharge point of TWO existing on-site disc filters, where they had installed a hydraulic compactor, which did not compact the waste and allowed a large amount of water to be deposited in the 24m3 waste container, the client had to contract the removal of the container every day.
The main objective of our client was to reduce the operating costs of the WWTPi. To achieve this objective, they wanted to replace the current hydraulic compactor with a technology that was capable of transporting, compacting and dehydrating the plastic waste, on which the current disc filters installed in the WWTPi were discharged:
– Actually, the existing hydraulic compactor was not able to compact the waste, nor drain the water from it, the equipment overflowed quite easily, the waste was deposited in a waste container of 24m3, with a large amount of water and weight of these, this fact implied to our client a large logistical costs and waste treatment:
Before upgrading: they removed a container of 24m3/day, weighing approximately 25,000kg, After the upgrade, after the installation of our ScrewPressTech® Nw90.215SP: they remove a container of 24m3/h weighing approximately 16,250kg, every 2 weeks.
–Netwater Technology had to custom design the equipment to fit the dimensions of the existing equipment and manholes on site. By installing our ScrewPressTech® Nw90.215SP equipment, several serious problems have been solved, such as lower logistical costs, lower waste treatment costs, lower labour risks, now the whole area where our equipment performs its task, is free of water or waste on the floor, preserving the integrity of the maintenance personnel, which was a major concern for our client.
The ScrewPressTech® Nw90.215SP consists of a NEW compaction head and pressure system, by means of which we achieve greater dryness of the waste, we have equipped it with a common collection hopper which is responsible for collecting (the water that drains the head, from the area of the hopper and the conveyor channel), the water is led to a single pipe, simplifying the process of installing the equipment on site.
Netwater Technology, through this supply, has been able to meet the needs of our client, who has been very satisfied with our service.

Netwater Technology, supplies new roughing equipment for our client who has carried out all the engineering for the new production plant in a cannery, to filter the water from their production processes, which has contracted us to supply this equipment:
- Fine screening machine RotaTech®Nw70T.25.50, for processing Qmax 30.43m3/h, with 3mm spacing, main construction material AISI-316L.
- Coarse screen SolidTech®Nw30S, for treating Qmax 30m3/h, with a 10mm passage width, installed in a metal tank, main construction material AISI-316L.
- Static fine screen ScreenTech®Nw71.45, to treat Qmax with<110ppm: 8.59m3/h, with 0.5mm spacing, main material of construction in AISI-316L.
- Static fine screen ScreenTech®Nw71.60, to treat Qmax with<1200ppm: 4.45m3/h, with 0.5mm spacing, material of construction Superduplex stainless steel SAF 2507- UNS S32750 DIN1.441 with a PRE=43.
- Static screen lifting structures made of AISI-316L, main material of construction.
- Roughing basket EasyTech®Nw15, to treat Qmax 30m3/h, with 6mm pitch, main construction material AISI-316L.
The main objective of the end customer was to build a new production plant and to equip it with the optimal production and filtering equipment for its operation:
- Some particularities of the project have been the materials used by NETWATER for the manufacture of these, due to the fact that the client in some of its production processes needs to use SALMUERA, a highly corrosive type of food. One of the requirements for manufacturing the ScreenTech® Nw71.60 static fine screen was that it had to be made of Super Stainless Steel type UNS S32750 DIN1.441 with a PRE (Pitting Corrosion Resistance) =43.
- The fine screen and the coarse screen have left the factory with the electrical pre-installation to the connection box and their respective electrical control panels. In the case of the coarse screen, it is equipped with an EMOTRON M20 electrical torque limiter to protect the equipment from possible jams.
